Prerequisites to become a Cosmetic Surgeon Practitioner at our Clinic
- GMC registered
- On GMC Specialist Register
- Trained, knowledgeable and experienced in specific treatment.
- Employed by public health service provider e.g NHS.
- Met or exceeded the Medical Governance requirement of our clinic’s Board of Governors.

Who will the consultation be with?
The DoH advise that patients should be given advice ONLY from clinicians and surgeons and NOT from patient advisors/ sales persons…….Make sure you are to meet with a clinically qualified person.
Is the clinic Registered with Healthcare Commission?
Specifically ask to see the clinics Registration Certificate and look for the entry that allows them to perform the treatment you are undertaking.
What are the risks associated with this procedure?
The DOH advice that the Surgeon should explain the likihood and effects of anaesthetic, infection, bruising and scarring.
What are the aftercare arrangements immediately post treatment and follow arrangements?
The clinician should explain carefully the aftercare provisions to be made available.
